Anaesthesia Technicians are expected to have strong base in anesthesia technology that are required for choosing the right anesthetic techniques to provide the patients based on their medical condition and with the safer side of precautions. Thorough knowledge of the required equipment, their usage, dosage of the anesthetic, and patient monitoring is highly essential in this role. In addition to the basic subject knowledge, the CAT examination assesses one's knowledge on handling the role in ICUs, emergency rooms, and operation theatres.
